Daniel has been a key part of Team Talbot since 2007. Holding both Canadian and U.S. CPA designations, he is an expert who specializes in U.S. taxation and leads our international tax team. As managing partner, he also plays a central role in the firm’s continued growth. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys sports, strategy games, and spending time with family and friends in his hometown of La Broquerie.

Thoughtful as a Hallmark Card with the work ethic of a Saint, he’s the guy who dresses so well you wonder where he’s off to later. Kevin has been an influential part of T&A since 2013. He brings with him over a decade of career and educational experience including an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University and a CPA, CGA designation. Beyond number crunching and helping teammates stay on track, Kevin enjoys snowboarding, hockey and taking in of-the-beaten-path films. He considers it his greatest privilege to help others succeed, an act he carries out often at Talbot & Associates with clients and co-workers alike.

Leading our assurance team, Joelle has been sharing her accounting expertise with Talbot since 1996, empowering staff and clients to make informed financial decisions for long-term success. A dedicated team player, she also ensures every celebration is sweeter with her baking skills. Outside work, Joelle loves hosting family celebrations and travelling.

Justin is a dynamic leader known for creating impactful opportunities for clients, mentoring teammates, and driving the Ag Team's success. A devoted husband and proud father, he’s committed to helping his family achieve their goals. A passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Justin holds his ground against Jets supporters with unwavering enthusiasm—like a tractor weathering a hailstorm.

As part of our assurance team, Paul works on audits and year-end reviews. With a keen interest in news spanning technology, politics, history, and future trends, he thrives on understanding progress. Paul's curiosity equips him to grasp clients’ unique challenges and opportunities, allowing him to provide insightful solutions tailored to their needs.

There’s a reason Kyla Murray is known as T&A’s resident bloodhound. If she’s not sniffing out a solution with military precision, you’ll find her wowing clients with the latest accounting ace up her sleeve. Kyla is an integral member of T&A’s Ag Team and provides exceptional training, support and care for her teammates and clients of the firm. She obtained her CPA designation after completing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. She grew up in rural southeastern Manitoba and enjoys golfing, fishing, water skiing, playing volleyball & softball and watching sports of any kind (especially if her nieces or nephews are playing).

Patrick brings a unique blend of skills to the firm, from Red Seal mechanic to retired Master Corporal in the Canadian Army to finally becoming a CPA. Known for his problem-solving expertise and unstoppable drive, he’s a key contributor to our tax and business consulting team. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys building and rebuilding his ‘37 Chevy ½ ton, combining precision and passion.

Jean-Guy founded Talbot and Associates in 1987 and spent a lot of time and energy researching the secrets of operating a better practice, expanding this company from a one-person basement operation to a multi-provincial firm. An FCPA honoree, he is now a speaker and a mentor to other accountants on the path to success. Fun fact: Jean-Guy was Born and raised on a mixed farm.

As our Chief Operations Officer and a true board game strategist, Natalie thrives on managing various projects and making sure T&A’s magic happens. She enjoys challenging the norm and pushing our team and clients to think through their processes and procedures to extract the issues, which inevitably leads to solutions. Outside of the office, she’s a laid-back mom who loves the company of her children and husband, and yes, she challenges the norm with them too!

With her Payroll Compliance Professional designation, Sasha supports clients with their payroll needs and leads our internal accounting with precision. A former bookkeeping team manager, she brings experience and care to every task. Outside of work, she enjoys church service, baking, romantic films, outdoor adventures, and time with her dog, Kita.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the lady who keeps everything spinning at T&A’s head office. People are instantly drawn to Ginette because of her warm, welcoming personality, then find themselves making excuses to hang out with her because of her infectious laugh or because she always believes the best about you. It’s not surprising that this rock star was once in the Navy reserves – because there’s not a task or situation that could possibly throw this firecracker off her game. Off hours, be it packing a picnic and taking off to the beach or hiking some far-off trail in Manitoba – excursions, family and friends are what make her world spin.

Rumoured to have single-handedly saved an entire village from being taken over by villains, there’s nothing Jan Jolicoeur can’t handle. She’s the savvy Director of First Impressions at Talbot’s head office and we’re not quite sure what we’d do without her. Quick with a “pump-you-up” fun contests or jokes, in her spare time, this lightening rod is also a marriage commissionaire, studies sign language and always stays up-to-speed on what’s happening in the world. Her passions include music (from Beethoven to Classic Rock) and being with her daughters and husband.

Very task-oriented, Ashley loves creating a battle plan, breaking down huge tasks into achievable smaller ones and executing them one by one. Ashley's attention to detail is really appreciated when helping us with invoices, projects, new client numbers, phone calls, and e-filing. When Ashley is not creating lists or checking things off, she enjoys getting into the nitty-gritty of a historical period piece, doing a lot of research to develop the characters in the captivating stories she writes.

Amber loves to find connections and solve problems by digging into the numbers to find ways clients can take advantage of tax-saving opportunities. When she is not preparing working papers for corporate compilations and tax returns, she enjoys watching science fiction movies.

While Andrew dreams of having a big family one day, for now he is happy working hard and playing harder! He’s passionate about his car, always learning and gaining new knowledge, and making big breakfasts on the weekends. Maintaining close relationships with family and friends is always on his mind and you can normally find him out with his friends for meals. Andrew came to work for Talbot and Associates after graduating from Business Administration at Red River College in 2018.

Andy is a Junior Accountant who values structure, clarity, and continuous learning. He prepares year-end files and corporate tax returns with a keen eye for detail. Outside of T&A, he also works as an Autopac insurance advisor and enjoys logic puzzles, math games, and spending time outdoors with friends and his dog.

Avi, an experienced IT Manager with over 12 years of experience in the tech industry, excels in managing complex IT infrastructures, troubleshooting networks, and implementing security measures. Originally from India, he holds degrees in Network & Computer Technology and Electronics & Communications Engineering. Outside work, he enjoys nature and loves playing volleyball, baseball, and Cricket.

Junior Accountant, Brandon enjoys tackling financial puzzles, from reconciling accounts to preparing year-end reports for corporate clients. Always eager to learn, he likes the complex nature of accounting. Outside work, he loves video games, board games, travelling to sunny destinations, and, most of all, spending time with his beloved cats.

As a social butterfly who loves helping people, Chelsey shines some light on everybody’s day. While currently a Director of First Impressions, she is completing her diploma in accounting, payroll and bookkeeping at Robertson College. When Chelsey is not assembling tax returns and making sure everything is organized and sorted, she enjoys researching holistic nutrition and herbal mixtures or discovering hiking trails.

Working on the assurance team as a junior accountant, Colin loves precision and focus; that’s why he finds financial statements fascinating. His love for strategic games like Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering translates into a meticulous approach, while his adventurous side keeps him ready for any challenge.

Passionate about gardening and canning, Corinne is the kind of person who loves to find the best possible outcome. Whether it’s finding the best tax return for a client or learning how to grow bigger and better vegetables each year, she always strives for the ideal solution- making her a natural fit for our Farm team!

Daniel is a strategically minded, minimalistic and charismatic accountant here in our St. Norbert office. He has a fascination with farming that came from his beekeeping business which he successfully ran for three years prior to Talbot & Associates. He was able to use and develop his accounting, tax and bookkeeping skills, bringing all four of his passions to Talbot & Associates and working with like minded individuals who hold the same belief about farming, accounting and taxes as he does. Daniel’s personal hobbies include playing disc golf, reading fantasy novels spending time with his sister.

Calm and supportive, Ellen is the kind of person who might like to stay in the background but she loves to help others in any way she can. That’s why her favorite part of being a bookkeeper is doing data entries and knowing that she takes the worries off of our clients’ shoulders. When Ellen isn’t working, she loves doing scrapbooks, playing board games, doing puzzles, and listening to music and singing along even if it’s a bit off tune!

As our Building Maintenance Coordinator, Eric keeps things running smoothly—handling repairs, overseeing contractors, and managing training centre bookings. Known for his energy and organization, he’s also a passionate musician. When he's not fixing something at the office, he’s behind a drum kit recording an album with his band.

Part of our AG Team, Gerald is a man of few words, but when he uses them, they’re either filled with humour or determination. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor’s in Administration degree in 2015, got his CPA designation in 2024 and is now managing his own team. He enjoys writing and working with numbers and has tremendous respect for people who go to extremes to stand up for the greater good in life.

With her warm, friendly presence, Jenae makes every client feel genuinely welcomed and heard from the moment they arrive. Her upbeat energy and positive spirit make her an essential support to both our team and our clients—always ready to help and keep things running smoothly.

Junior bookkeeper, Jennifer has a passion for organizing and solving puzzles, making her a natural at bookkeeping. She loves diving into details, uncovering how things work, and reassembling them in a clear, orderly way. Her curiosity and dedication help clients make sense of their financial information with ease.

If you look up “one cool customer” in the dictionary, you’ll see Jocelyne’s photo right beside it. This lady is the full package- sharing her ease, smarts and laughter with the T&A team for over 18 years. Jocelyne received a diploma in Business Administration from the Université de Saint-Boniface in 1997. Prior to Talbot, she obtained close to 10 years of public and private accounting experience. Out of the office, you can find her puzzling, enjoying golf, speeding on trails a la ATV or laughing up a storm near a bonfire with friends.

Eager to learn new things, Josef is a strong logical person who enjoys helping clients to understand their very individualized tax situation. When Josef is not preparing tax returns for people with all forms of income, he loves to spend time with his family, camping and hiking.

Katrina believes continuing to learn, challenge her current mindset, and seek out wisdom from those around her is all part of our lifelong growth. Having completed her QuickBooks Online and Desktop Certification, you can find her hard at work in her current field of focus. At the age of 3, she took her first ballet class and discovered her passion, going on to study full time at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Division at the age of 12. Part of a small group of 10 girls from around the world, she trained in classical Russian Technique and learned discipline, strong work ethic, and a deep love and respect for the art form. Today, you can find her hiking, puzzling, brushing up on her calligraphy skills, or in the kitchen with a glass of red wine trying a new recipe with her beloved cat Pippa.

Khushi is a Junior Accountant on our Corporate team with a sharp eye for numbers and a strategic mindset. Whether she's balancing books or solving a tricky puzzle, she brings focus and precision to everything she does—especially when it involves board games, sudoku, and a good challenge.

Kiera, a passionate musician with a lifelong love for singing and piano, draws inspiration from her musical family. She graduated with Honours in Applied Accounting from Red River and holds both a Diploma of Performing Arts from the Canadian College of Performing Arts and a Diploma in Music from Camosun College.

As a System Administrator, Krish ensures our IT systems run smoothly and securely. He enjoys solving technical issues, supporting the team, and exploring new technologies. Naturally curious and organized, he brings sharp research and planning skills to everything he tackles—from streamlining infrastructure to mapping out hiking weekends.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, Leslie loves to help—whether it’s supporting clients or helping junior team members. With a long history of community involvement, including leading the Hungarian Canadian Cultural Society and organizing Folklorama events, she brings that same spirit to the office…and to cheering on her favourite sports team.

Liane is a Junior Accountant on our Agriculture team who brings care and attention to every file she handles. With a big heart for animals—especially dogs—she spends her downtime enjoying the outdoors and playing with them, recharging for another productive day supporting farm clients.

Whether she is cleaning clients’ books or meeting deadlines, you can always count on Linda. Between her love for helping clients and her team-player attitude, she is a great addition to our bookkeeping team. When Linda is not working, she can be found travelling, hiking, or camping with her family.

Mackenzie is a Junior Accountant with a big heart and a drive to grow. Eager to learn, she’s passionate about using her skills to help as many people as possible. A devoted animal lover, she spends her free time caring for her two cats or rescuing strays in need.

Whatever Madison is working on your taxes or playing video games, she is always looking for optimization. She loves the complexity of preparing year-ends and loves finding loopholes that will help save client's some money, that’s why she is part of our AG team and helps prepare corporate year-ends for both farm and non-farm companies.

If candour was an Olympic sport, this lady would take gold (every time!). But don’t be fooled, although Martine Dubé possesses a humor dry as the desert – she’s all heart. Martine brings with her accounting smarts, attention to detail and a warm mentorship style which has been a strong asset to the T&A team since 2011. She earned her CPA, CGA designation in 2015. Martine most admires her siblings who shape her world with their fresh perspectives. In her spare time, she appreciates road trips, watching movies, reading ghostly novels, rollerblading and the occasional snowboarding trip. Martine’s dream experience would be to visit Scotland to take in historical castles while listening to George Michael’s greatest hits on repeat.

Megh's passion for football (called soccer here) and bookkeeping both stem from the same love of strategy and precision. Just like positioning every player to win the game, he organizes clients' financial records with care, ensuring everything is in its right place for success. He thrives on bringing order to complexity. When Megh is not working, you can find him supporting his favourite team, Real Madrid CF, or playing FIFA.

Junior Accountant with an artistic flair, Peter is fascinated by how clients' choices impact their taxes. Always seeing things in a positive and appreciative light, he thrives on having his clients leave the office with a smile. When he’s not preparing corporate tax returns, you can find Peter practicing for one of the two performing groups he is part of, playing calm music on a guitar or learning new shortcuts on a keyboard.

Passionate about environmental stewardship, Rebecca thrives on empowering people and serving her community. Graduating in 2018 from Providence University College, she holds a degree in BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration). Rebecca’s two greatest loves are culinary adventures and nature. When she’s not enjoying music or cooking, she can be found hiking or just immersing herself in nature and exploring new places. Rebecca’s personal mantra is "Is there anything more perfect than a consistently imperfect unfolding of nature."

Right after immigrating from France, Rémy joined T&A as a bilingual Marketing and Communication Manager. With over 15 years of experience as a Graphic Designer and Art Director at the advertising firm Publicis Worldwide, he envisions things as they could be – not just as they are. Naturally curious with an artistic flair, he’s what people call a content creator. He launched a YouTube channel (around 25k subs) to help people grow a species of carnivorous plants at home and became a self-published author in 2024. With his “get it done” attitude, Rémy also took on the role of T&A HQ’s building manager in 2024.

Rich often wonders why people stare at him like he has eight heads. It could be (a) his wild stories about what he blew up in his garage microwave, (b) the rapid speed in which fires back email responses or (c) that they are literally staring at all the hats he wears at the firm. Rich has been a significant part of the T&A family since 2011. He’s held positions as the IT Manager and supports the Ag Team and overall tax file preparation. He is a quick study and is constantly striving to improve himself in some way each day. In his downtime he enjoys wood working, a good book or head banging to Abba.

Richelle is a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a passion for mastering corporate taxes and keeping things running smoothly with a solid plan. Outside of work, she loves experimenting in the kitchen—tweaking ingredient ratios and chasing the perfect sourdough recipe, one delicious loaf at a time.

As an accountant on the assurance team, Rohit brings sharp analytical skills and a love of precision to every audit and tax file. A focused team player with a passion for cricket, he takes pride in being dependable and collaborative—both in his professional work and personal life.

Soren wakes up each morning with the idea that each day is a gift and a new challenge, knowing that the challenging days make the good days that much sweeter. Passionate about seeing people grow and achieve excellence, his personal mantra is to be ‘always improving.’ Soren was married in 2022 and is excited to be starting a family. In 2023, he graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in accounting. For over five years, he has been part of True North Helping Hands, building schools for indigenous children in Baja California, Mexico.

As a Junior Accountant on the Farm Team, Samreen loves staying organized, tackling complex files, and always learning something new. She’s passionate about personal growth and supporting others on their journey too. Outside the office, you’ll find her staying active and embracing anything that helps her feel her best.

Motivated and caring, Stefan uses his will and tenacity to challenge himself but also to help his clients. His desire to make a positive impact as often as he can also translates into his job, where he gives it his all to find solutions to your problems. He became a CPA in 2025, and when he isn't working, you can find him looking for his next 800km hiking trail.

Valérie is the real-life version of a viral video. You can’t stop watching her and you want to introduce her to all your friends. From hilarious stories about insane incidents to her sharp-as-a-tact work ethic – she’s a catch for any organization (and we caught her – point us!). Valérie is T&A’s HR/Executive Assistant who’s been with T&A since 2006. She obtained her Office Management diploma at the Université de Saint-Boniface in 2007 and has kept T&A spinning ever since. Often the first one in and the last out, this girl is most marked by her tremendous generosity and kind heart. In her free time, Valérie loves to bake and is a passionate volunteer. She enjoys any type of physical activity – whether its Zumba or playing volleyball. She lives life with a spirit of gratitude and credits her parents who sacrificed to give her and her siblings the life she so deeply appreciates now.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, Vicki brings experience, precision, and a sharp eye for detail to every client file. When she’s off the clock, she’s on a culinary mission—sampling restaurants near and far in search of the ultimate brunch spot.
